HAMBURGER SOUP 2
1/2 c. onions, chopped
1 lb. hamburger
1 bay leaf
2 cans cream of celery soup
1 1/2 c. water
3 c. tomato juice
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
1 heaping tsp. sugar
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 can of corn or 1 can green beans
(or both)
Saute hamburger in 3 tablespoons butter until done, then drain. Combine all ingredients into kettle and simmer for 45 minutes. Serves 8 to 10. The longer this simmers the better it gets.
