WESSON JIFFY BARBEQUE SAUCE


1/2 c. Wesson oil

3/4 c. chopped onion

3/4 c. tomato catsup

2 tbsp. prepared mustard

1/2 tsp. pepper

3/4 c. water

1/3 c. lemon juice

3 tbsp. sugar

3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

2 tsp. salt

Cook onion until tender in hot Wesson oil, add rest of ingredients. Simmer 15 minutes. Makes enough to baste 2 chickens. (Chili sauce will give it a tang!)
