SCHOOL PASTE
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
2 c. water
1/2 tsp. powdered alum
Mix. Cook on low heat, stirring constantly until thick. Remove from heat. Add 15 drops oil of cloves. Makes one pint. Will keep for several months.
