PASTE RECIPE
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cold water
Mix together as you would to make gravy. Add 2 cups boiling water and cook until thick. Add 1 1/2 teaspoons powdered alum. Add 1/4 teaspoon oil of wintergreen (preservative).
