BARBEQUE SAUCE


1/2 c. onions, chopped

3 tbsp. butter

1 c. catsup

1/3 c. vinegar or lemon juice

1/2 c. brown sugar

1/2 c. water

2 tsp. prepared mustard

1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

1/8 tsp. pepper

1/2 tsp. salt

Slowly cook onion with butter in a pan until onion is tender. Add remaining ingredients. Cover. Simmer 15 minutes. Delicious when served over spare ribs.
